At Shopify I'm part of the Shipping Platform team. We deal with carrier integrations among a handful of other moving pieces in that area. My current focus is on improving some of the foundational aspects of our codebases, and working to eliminate tech debt and improve quality of life overall.

Outside of the day to day shit I do routintely, I've been bumping up the frequency I try to take for writing. I have two periods of time each week where I can detach myself from things and just sit and focus on writing. Often these pieces are therapeutic and more self-serving than I'm aiming for, but its in recognizing that through repetition that I'm better able to break that pattern and tackle more objective pieces.
