A bit uneventful, but still eventful last two days. I've almost finished the book But What If We're Wrong? by Chuck Klosterman. The tagline for this book gives a sense of what it's about, and that's really what it's about, but it's offered some really interesting things to consider about the way I (or we) think about events in the past or present. I may list some more notable bits from it in a breakdown that may eventually find its way to my reading page (I won't go full book report, don't worry), but suffice it to say here, that I've really enjoyed it.
I also posed the question on my LinkedIn page on Wednesday that I'd love to speak with anyone in or around touring acts with merch to research that side of the (merch) table to better inform my exploration. I'm taking it deliberately slow to avoid feeling like I'm working during this time, but it is underway.
I also added a bit to my writing page following a conversation with ChatGPT and doing some consideration of what I'd like to continue writing and how I can improve with it. I plan on doing some (at the very least) styling changes to this site, just to kind of spruce it up a bit. Nothing crazy. I still want it quick and conversational.
Hope you've been well.
