Christoflurp is reading

I try to keep a fiction, a non-fiction and a book meant to guide some kind of growth at any given time. I like to think it keeps me more interested in reading as I've got some choices available to me.

fiction.

Kings of the Wyld by Nicholas Eames. So far this book has been a lot of fun. It was originally recommended to me as something akin to vikings meets 70's rock and roll fandom. It's definitely living up to that description, with short and punchy chapters moving the story along nicely. No grand exposition needed to set the feel of the world, just a good fast rhythm.

non-fiction.

Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity by Peter Attia. I picked this up on a Mark Manson podcast recommendation and have really been enjoying the depth and discovery it's offered. It's making me recognize just how unhealthy I likely am at this age, but not making me feel like all is lost, but rather, arming me with information I may be able to use to improve my wellness overall and extend the value of living longer.

something for growth.

Nothing at the moment.
